Islam is the one

Assalamualaikum and hey there.

1. What makes you think Islam is the true religion?

Because Islam is the only religion that have and use Al-Quran. Al-Quran is a magical miracle. It's beautifully written, rhythmic even when you read the translation version, you'll feel the beauty. There's so many science inside it, from the creation of humans to the presence of day and night. There's al so so many good stories in it.

2. And what makes you think Al-Quran is God's creation and not human's?

If you have a very old Al-Quran, let's say dated 100 years old belongs to your great-great grandfather, I can guarantee you the content is 100% the same as Today's Al-Quran. It's very pure. Very original. It's forbidden for Muslims to change it even 1 alphabet. And I know it's not human's creation because prophet Muhammad pbuh, the chosen one who was given the Al-Quran, cannot read and write. This shows that it is straight from Allah, nothing added. I mean, it's like when you don't know Chinese characters and someone asks you to give a letter of it to someone. If you even add some Chinese characters you know, it won't be beautifully written any more, right?

Ikhlas Daripada,

Ad-din

Assalamualaikum and hey there.

So, as well as I know, Islam is the most religion with believer and is also, the most misunderstood religion, for which the media has labelled us from terrorists to extremists.

I might be young. Wait no, I am young. But I know things about my religion, and I wish to clear things up. So, here are the FAQs.

1. What/Who do you actually worship?

Allah is my god, your god and everybody's god. Since Allah is God, Allah doesn't look like a human. So, Allah has no gender. The only reason why we use 'he' is because 'he' shows greater power than 'she'. And Allah is one, so we don't use 'they'. Since Allah doesn't LOOK like a human, we don't know how Allah looks like and we CAN'T assume it. Imagine this, you're going to meet Taylor. You never met Taylor, never talked to Taylor, never chatted with Taylor, just a mutual friend told you about Taylor going to meet you. You don't even know if Taylor is a guy or a girl. It could be Taylor Swift, or Taylor Lautner. It could be Taylor Kitsch, oh there's so many Taylor! But the point is, you never knew how Taylor looks like. Fair, tan, black, blonde, brunette, fat, thin, etc. So, how can you even assume??

2.What's the prove that Allah exists when you can't see Allah?

How do you know wind exists? Because your hair blows at the beach, the trees sway occasionally, right? Same goes to Allah. The effects show you the cause. Even the amazing bulb has its inventor, how could a wonderful sun doesn't have one? Even the Eiffel Tower has its creator, how could the Everest doesn't have one??

3. Then why are you worshipping the Kaabah?

Kaabah is a huge cube located in Masjidil Haram (Al-Haram Mosque), Mecca. Kaabah is not Allah and we're not worshipping it. It's just a symbolic. It symbolises our unity. Imagine there's no Kaabah, we'd pray at any direction we want. There would be no agreement. Kaabah shows that Islam is an organized religion. Let me tell you, to prove that Kaabah is just a symbol, not the God, before Kaabah, we pray facing the Al-Aqsa Mosque. But when Allah ordered us to pray facing Kaabah, we changed it and followed it. And even if Kaabah somehow would be destroyed, we'd still be facing the actual base of it. Because it doesn't matter, what Allah ordered is the matter most.

4. Why Muslims are terrorists?

Somehow, only Muslims are the only terrorists who are related to their religion. What, you never saw any white people as terrorists before? Look, the thing is, not all Muslims follow Islam fully. The same thing goes to any other religions. Does Christian women cover their heads like nuns? Do you guys avoid sex before marriage? Well, most of you don't. Same as Muslims. You don't expect us to follow our religion fully when you don't. And terrorism has never been permitted in our religion. In fact, Islam forbids terrorism. So, long story short, Muslims involve in terrorism are the ones who offend Islam, and offend Allah.

5. Why do you have to pray so often?

You know what, everything that happen is a blessing.Count them. The air, your eyes, your hands, your feet, your five senses, your wealth, your health, food and drinks, everything. Praying shows that you are grateful with your blessings. So, how could you just say thank you every week or every Easter Day when you have so many blessings? That's why we pray five times a day . Actually, it's not even a burden. You only need 5 minutes to pray. So, in total 25 minutes a day. So, can you still complaining when you only spend less half an hour a day for your creator?

6.  Why do you fast? It looks like you're torturing yourself for not even eating or drinking. Should you be that extreme?

Actually, we're not. Badar War was held on the daylight of Ramadan month, the fasting month. And we won it. Even with empty stomach. Fasting doesn't mean we don't even eat the whole day. It's just we don't eat or drink during the daylight. Early in the morning, we eat and then at dusk, we eat again. See? two times a day. Fasting is scientifically proven to be good for your health. It gives your exhausted stomach to rest from digesting food. It also makes us feel thankful with food that we eat, since now we know how it feels to be starving like those poor people in some place with no food.

7. Why does Muslim women covered their heads?

Actually, we're not just covering our heads. Our hijab should also cover our hair, ears, neck and chest. In Islam, women are very precious. Women are the world's prettiest jewellery. So, do you put your jewellery on the dirty street? I believe you're not that stupid. Same goes to Muslim women. We hide our beauty so that people won't kidnap us, harass us nor rape us. We keep our beauty so that our husbands can feel the first experience of it. We believe that husbands should have the best because we're going to be with that guy for the rest of our lives. That's why. You know what, bonus, hijab or veil can also hide your bad hair day.

I hope this is helpful.

Stay faithful.

What's Hot Right Now

Assalamualaikum and hello there!

1) Typo

ok, I admit it that their notebooks are attractively cute, well, yess, they're cute. But the price.... um,, ok, Typo's pens are probably the most expensive ball pen I've ever bought. RM 7 per. I can buy about 4 Papermate with this. But hey, maybe the prices are actually typo! (pun intended)

2) Boycut

OMG, this trend really makes me look people twice to make sure that they are girls. It's annoying, fella. But perhaps that's the best for boarding school's girls. Shorter hair is easier to take care of. Hey, even celebrities are rocking it! But if I ever come to school with hair that only reach my neck, my friends will definitely freak out.

3) Colourful Telekung

Gone the time when you can see the saf with only white telekungs. I'm sorry people, but even myself is wearing a brown. White is so sheer I don't know why. Darker colour is easier to handle. But what's important the most is that the telekung is covering our aurat fully and we're comfortable in in so that we can pray in peace.

4) John Green's Books

Everywhere I go, I must see 'The Fault in Our Stars' on people's hand or 'Looking for Alaska' on the desks. Well, it's popular now. And I just know that they're love stories actually. That's why you can't judge a book by its cover!

5) FIXI Books

Well, this is more viral. Every form read it. Everyone reads it. well,, except for me. I'm not a fan of mystery, thriller, etc. But you know, what I can see in FIXI is that every book of it only have one title - like 'Gantung', 'Sumbat' etc. And the covers are almost the same. Now that's uniformity.

Well, out of 5, I only follow two. Hahah. Not a trendy either.

Til then.

Hey pretty girl from Kuala Lumpur

Assalamualaikum and hello there.

Well, actually, I'm not from Kuala Lumpur (KL). I'm from Bangi, Selangor about 25 minutes away from KL. But I used to live in KL, though I was born in Negeri Sembilan. But I've spent my childhood and 6 years of primary school there. So, basically, I'm a 'KL girl'.  (Eleh, sekarang pun tengok KLCC macam jakun habis, nak bajet KL girl. putuih!)

No, I'm not. But just wanna tell you, and share with you, KL is the capital of Malaysia. Where I think, if you heard of Malaysia, words that  pop into your mind are Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Sabah, Langkawi and Sarawak. 'Cause they're tourist's attraction.

One thing that I'm proud of KL, is the name itself, is 100% in Malay and people don't change it. (even though you might pronounce a little different) Let me teach you how to pronounce Kuala Lumpur.
Coo-wa-la-loom-pur. Where the 'wa' you pronounce it like when you say wonderful. And the 'la' is like the usual 'la la land'. While the 'pur' is like when you mimics cats "purr". So, it makes you a Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur means 'Muddy Estuary' since the city centre of it is located at where Sungai Gombak and Sungai Klang meet. Oh and by the way, kuala or estuary is where a river and another river meet. And the place was initially muddy since the rivers are rich with tin ore.

That's the picture... Oh Additional fact: 'Muara' is where a river meets the sea. You must be crazy if you want to feel some nature environment of tropical forest or island or beach at KL. the only nature that KL has is jungle - concrete jungle. But we still have bird park and zoo. but KL is mostly famous because I think it is the most urban place in Malaysia. I mean, everything new, there. If there's an international concert, there in KL. So, if you go to KL, you must visit these places.

1) KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre)

There are three main things you can do in KLCC. first, sightseeing. See that tall, sky-scraping twin tower? That is Petronas Twin Tower, The tallest twin tower in the world, once the tallest building in the world. See the bridge connecting the two towers? That's where you can watch a breathtaking view of a busy city. (Of course you reach there using lifts) the Petronas offices are located in the towers, and they also rent some floors for other companies too. It's an office, with a sky bridge.

Second, see that cute building in front of the lake? That's Suria KLCC, place where you can shop! It's a shopping complex with lots and lots of stores. This is where you can shop til you drop.  But finding a car park there is really a perk, so you can take a public transport instead.

Third, kids can play and grown-ups can walk. See that huge green park? That park is full of playgrounds! Various types of slides, swings, see saw. even a swimming pool. Kids gotta love it. My parents used to take me there almost every weekend when I was little. I would wake as early as 8 am. Get ready, breakfast, go there, park the car at the ourdoor carpark and play and play and play until it's noon. Then we would go into the shopping complex to chill ourselves and eat lunch. I am grateful I have such a wonderful childhood. Poor my lil siblings they don't have the chance since we've moved out and my parents are getting busier and older.

2) KL Tower

OK, one confession. Even I was a KL girl, I NEVER went here. It's a communication tower. and sightseeing tower. and a rotating restaurant up there. Still a place to sightseeing.

3) KL Bird Park

I've once went here and it's so fantastic! I was a bird lover back then. still a bird lover, hope so It's a large aviary actually. There are so many colourful unique birds. You can find peacocks anywhere on the street. But what I remember most is when I fed the birds. OMG they were pecking my palm! It was a little ticklish and painful but memorable. And when I took pictures with 4 of them. And when I watched the bird show. Really captivated by the parrot who can do maths. And when I held those little chicks! Aaaahhh! I still remember those days. Seriously, I want to go there again.

So next time when you visit KL, visit these places. You won't regret it.

Just some throwback from 2013. and since I found these photos. So... here we go...

 Just-a-Junk Chart Top 10

#1 P!nk ft. Nate Ruess - Just Give Me a Reason

This song is magical. And it's a dynamic duo. The lyrics are beautiful too. But seriously I love the vocals.

Fav. lyrics: That we're not broken just bent

#2 Justin Timberlake - Mirrors

Seriously, the original version is 8 minutes long! But yeah the first 4 minutes are beautiful. JT's powerful comeback. Left people singing it around.

Fav. lyrics: I'm looking right at the other half of me,
The vacancy that sets in my heart,
It's a space that now you hold

#3 One Republic - Counting Stars

One of their biggest hits. After Apologize and Secrets. I love the meaning of the lyrics. But to be honest, at first, I don't like this song. 'cause I think the music video is crappy. But after I heard a cover of this song, I felt in love. Can't help it. And it still in MTV's Chart Attack Top 20. Even after 4 months! Wow!

Fav. lyrics: But baby I've been, I've been praying hard,
                  Said no more counting dollars,
We'll be, we'll be counting stars.

#4 Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

People were shocked listening to this so-not-country song sang by Taylor Swift. As this is so different from her usual tunes. But I love it. It's catchy. And still about breakups. hahah.

Fav lyrics:-

No apologies,
He'll never see you cry,
Pretend he doesn't know,
That he's the reason why,
You're drowning, you're drowning, you're drowning-ing-ing-ing....

#5 Katy Perry - Roar

I don't really like the melody, except for the 'dancing through the fire' part. But the lyrics are inspiring. Another hits, Katy.

Fav. lyrics: I stood for nothing,
                 So I fell for everything.

#6 Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop

Another WOW comeback. A wonderful party tune. But I don't appreciate the music video, Miley.

Fav. lyrics: Remember only God can judge ya,
Forget the haters, 'cause somebody loves ya

#7 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop

Very fun to sing along. This song makes them popular! And tell us the fun we can get from thrift shop. And teach me new words: 'thrift shop'. Hahah.

Fav. lyrics: I'm gonna pop some tags
only got 20 dollars in my pocket

#8 One Direction - Best Song Ever

I super duper extremely LOVE the music video! Watching them acting, just give extra credits. :P The song? Fantastic. Lyrics? Not so.

Fav. lyrics: You know, I know, you know I'll remember you
And I know you know I know you'll remember me

#9 Taylor Swift - 22

Another upbeat song! Love the song! The lyrics? are fine. nothing special though.

Fav. lyrics: We ditch the whole scene,
                 And end up dreaming,
                  Instead of sleeping,

#10 Selena Gomez - Come & Get It

New vibe from Selena. But totally suits her. Dancing tunes for dancing diva.

Fav. lyrics: This love ain't finish yet.

That's all. so long.

Ikhlas Daripada,

A-list stuffs for A-list girls

       Assalamualaikum and hey there.

Did I mention I study in a boarding school? All-girl? Now I do. My school is just the same as other schools- there are cliques, rich people, rich kids, groups, oh yeah, rich kids. But that doesn't mean we can't unite or talk to each other. We're good. I mean, how bad could a girl fight be?

So these are some stuffs that are listed in the 'A-list'. LOL....

Bawal Exclusive

It's a brand for tudung bawal, also known as hijab or veil or scarf. You know, since we're Muslims and we need to cover our head, hair, ear, neck and chest. My former principal once said that we should be just. But how ironic when shoes that we put on our feet are very expensive, more exclusive than the tudung that we wear? But I guess she could make it fair and square by wearing this  expensive tudung that cost RM30- RM 200. (You know you can get a RM 10 nice tudung somewhere else)

Yes, it's soft, classy, gorgeous, easy to shape, not very easy to iron, but yes, it's EXCLUSIVE.

Did I have this item? Yes ONE. Cream in colour with white stones. Used for important occasions and since cream can match with most of my baju kurungs.

Le Sportsac

It's a brand for bags. But most of the girls in school wear the shoulder bag one. I like the design. It's very cute. The pattern. But the price? My school bag is half of its price!

Did I have this item? Nope. Nope. I mean, how can I afford RM150 just for bag? Let's go buy new jeans instead.

Kipling

Another brand for bags. But the price is much more expensive! Though I think Sportsac is more attractive. Like duh, RM 400 for a plain small bag with a matching gorilla keychain? I rather buy that colourful cute Sportsac!

Did I have this item? I'm not interested.

Polaroid Camera

It's a trend, people, it's a trend. When we are so lazy to print it.... ZUPP! The film's out of the camera with the photo. It's easy. It's simple. It's cheap. Just the films.... are not.

Did I own this item? Really really WISH so!

DSLR Camera

We still love a crystal clear, detailed, HD pictures. So, DSLR is still in the list! Price? You don't have to talk about it. Talk about those clear, HD pictures and as easy as ABC to capture photos. They have a price to pay.

Did I own this item? Wish so but still grateful with my cute little digital camera.

Beats Headphone

Oh my. It's expensive? For sure! It's deafening? Of course! For good! Once you wear it over your ears, you step into your own world of music. No one else can disturb you. Very amazing.

Own this item? I don't. Sadly.

Paperluxe Notebook

Famous as diaries. Likeable because of the beautiful cover design. Price? Around RM 20. I usually buy Ukami for my diaries. I don't mind as long as it's reasonable.

Own this item? Why I should when I can buy a below RM 10 notebook?

Sharpie

It's a school. So, stationeries count. Well, we often use the markers, of course. My favourites - Metallic. Used to make notes. And letters to umm... you know, foster sisters? something like that.

Did I own this item? Yes! Only the basic colours but they've dried out. Since I bought it when I was in Form 1 (I was 13).

Pilot

When my usual pens Papermate only cost RM3 for 3 pens. It costs RM4 for ONE PEN. Yep. RM4. But can't deny it does worth it. Very smooth, comfortable for writing. And make your handwriting looks prettier.

Did I own this item? No. But I need it. Since my handwriting is hideous. Really need some help.

Creative Products

What? Testpads still count, dude! very popular for note use. and letters. Not too thin. Not too thick. Just nice for writing.

Did I own this item? Yep.

So, from this list, I've 3 out of 10. That's... um, pathetic. Whatever. I save money for more important things.

               Til then.

Ikhlas Daripada,

It's Official (after 18 days....)

So last night in TV, Datuk Seri Najib officially anounced that, MH370 is officially crashed into the Indian Ocean. oh my God.

This conclusion is made based on the plane's last destination, yes it's the wide ocean. The first theory. And since it've been 18 days, I don't know. Sorry to say but, to me, there's no hope.

None except for finding the black box to solve this mystery. I mean, hello, we all know that this plane is going to Beijing, and I know that it suddenly changed its destination and went back to Malaysia but why? And why and how it ended up in Indian Ocean, the ocean that is NOT between Malaysia and Beijing? Does it actually want to go further to Australia or South Africa? There are so many questions. So many mysteries.

I felt sad when the TV and newspapers stopped the usual 'Kes Pesawat MH370 Hilang Hari ke-_' as they stopped counting the days. And now they change it into 'Tragedi MH370'. That's just.... sorrow. And when the usual Astro advertisement of #PrayForMh370 is changed into 'Takziah kepada keluarga penumpang dan krew pesawat MH370'.

Wow, this is a big tragedy for Malaysia.

Now, let's take a look the rainbow behind this 'hurricane'.

             1) At least there'd be no war since it's not being hijacked for political (at least that's what we can conclude now)

             2) Malaysia is now much known to the world (It's Visit Malaysia 2014, earthlings)

             3) MH370 is the most popular plane number plat of the decade. (just saying)

See? Every cloud has its silver linings.

To the passengers' family, when it's time to die, no matter when, no matter where you are, you will die. It's Allah's will. So, accept it and move on. People come and left in our lives.

(Suddenly it sounds like Titanic, I don't know why...)

(Suddenly remembering the plane that landed on Hudson river, with ZERO fatality.)

(Suddenly it's now, worldwide, MH370. Oh my, it's my country's plane.)

#PrayForMH370

Assalamualaikum and hey there.

Keep your faith. Keep your hope. Keep praying. Keep searching. Keep looking. Keep waiting.

It's been 16 days. 16 DAYS. I don't realise it. but I was worried. And I am worried. I don't really know what had happened, neither what is actually happening. There's too many theories. Too many rumours. Too many wrongs. Than the TRUTH.

Let me just list some of the theories.

1) The plane had crashed into the sea.

The sea is too wide. too distant. There are so many places to look for if this what happened. And if this was the truth, all of them would be dead by now....

2) The plane was hijacked.

Right, this one, the chances for the passengers to still alive are higher, but it's scarier though. It might involve wars, terrorism, national security. It's just scarier. But based on some facts like how the plane had suddenly fell down dramatically before stabilised itself might intent to make the passengers fainted. and how the communication between the plane and the control tower was quite suspicious, and it sounded like "someone who tried to act like a pilot while actually he's not" (quoted by an experienced pilot) . But the most of all, how the plane just suddenly, like that, disappeared from the radar. It's just illogical to think that it's just accidently gone like that, unless if someone had planned for it. And all the fake passports, fake identities, might worsen the case.

3) The plane is hidden in another world between sky and land

Okay this one is.... totally out. (Why am I writing that bomoh's theory???)

Personally I do believe that all of them are still alive. All of them. all of those 200++ people. Know one fact? 100++ of them are originally from China and only like, 38 of them are Malaysians. Some nations involved also Australia, USA,UK for like 2-3 people. that's it.

I really appreciate the hard work and sacrifice that Government had put on the Searching and Rescuing Mission. I also appreciate all the other countries which are helping us to find MH370. We really appreciate it.

But 1 thing that I don't like, I found this news on the newspaper. On how international media condescended us, stating that we're too weak to even find a plane. Saying this might result to some big political issues. I'm sorry, but did the last time a plane crash happened they found back the plane in 5 seconds?  Hello, this world is ridiculously damn enormous. The ocean is insanely damn wide. And the world's politics are even stupidly absurdly baffling.

Ish, orang Malaysia pun satu. tak boleh ke sokong kerajaan sendiri? Ada sebab kenapa kerajaan sembunyikan banyak fakta. Cuba tengok benda yang baik. Betapa  bersungguhnya diaoang cari kapal terbang tu. Berapa banyak aset negara dah dikeluarkan. Kesian Hishammuddin.

        MH370, where are you???

This doesn't look real! This doesn't look real!

WARNING: This entry is full with fangirling. We would not take responsibility for any serious and smelly vomit after reading this entry.

Assalamualaikum and hello there.

Oh, my GOD.

Did I mention to you that I am a Swiftie? Well, now you know. You know, she never came to Malaysia before. Not even during Speak Now tour. And now, Red tour? See it by yourself. My evidence.

T-Swizzy is coming to Malaysia!! Aaaahhhh!!!! (me fangirling) I can't believe it! I thought when I am big enough so you can't hit me to study in London, I would watch her concert at O2. But since she's making thousands in A CONCERT, so she's the one who should come here. I guess... :P

Am I going to the concert? Umm, actually, I study in a boarding school so I can
only watch it IF it is during school holiday. And guess what?

-
-
-
-
-
-
Wait for it....
-
-
-
-

IT IS DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAY!

So my chance to go there increases 91%. The other 9%?

PARENTS' PERMISSION.

I mean, hello, I can't even take license yet.

So when I had a sweet conversation with my parents during the weekend, it went kinda like this:

"Papa, Mama, boleh tak Kakak nak tengok konsert tu?"

"Memang Papa rancang nak beli tiket pun." (Actually, I've already planned to buy the ticket.)

And then I screamed silently at the cafe.

Can you BELIEVE that???

I was so surprised I couldn't tell if my father was only joking badly. But when by the end of the visit, he asked which seat that I wanted, I knew it was true.

I'm going to the Red Tour Concert!!!

Aaaahhhh!

Now, I've to think something else before I get too crazy.
